About the role

As a Rental Technician, you will work on material handling and construction equipment in both the shop and field, ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely to maximize equipment uptime and support customer rental needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on industrial IC and electric forklifts, terminal tractors, and yard spotters
• Conduct electronic and hydraulic repairs, as well as diesel and gas engine repair
• Maintain and repair equipment to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction
• Work at heights when required
• Use basic computer knowledge for diagnostics and record-keeping
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Provide own tools for the job
• Perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience with industrial IC and electric forklifts
• At least 7 years of experience with terminal tractors or yard spotters
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs, as well as diesel and gas engine repair
• Comfortable working at heights
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Must provide own tools
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 75 lbs
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Rental industry experience is preferred

Pay

$34–51 per hour, depending on experience.
