Heavy Equipment Rental Field Mechanic

Job Summary

Pape’ Rents is seeking a Rental Field Mechanic to join their team. This position offers competitive compensation, exceptional benefits, and a strong work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

• Work on material handling and construction equipment in the field to ensure accurate and timely repairs
• Maximize equipment uptime and support rental equipment needs for customers
• Travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment
• Interact with customers and know that they can count on you to get the job done right

What You Need

• Knowledge of JLG and Genie and other AWP Equipment with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Aerial experience is preferred
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs; diesel and gas engine repair
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Must provide own tools
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 75lbs
• Driver’s license with a good driving record
• Comfortable working at heights

Compensation

• $37.92-47/hr (Depending on Experience)
