Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment in various field locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a vocational training program in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.

Skills

• Good physical fitness to perform manual labor.

Pay
