About the role

As a Rental Field Technician, you will work on material handling and construction equipment in the field, ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely to maximize equipment uptime and support customer rental needs. You’ll travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, perform top-notch work on equipment, and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot JLG, Genie, and other AWP equipment
  • Perform electronic and hydraulic repairs
  • Repair diesel and gas engines
  • Maintain strong customer relations through excellent communication
  • Work at heights and handle physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 75 lbs

Requirements

  • Knowledge of JLG and Genie equipment (aerial experience preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Must provide own tools
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Pay

$34–42/hour (depending on experience)
