About the role

We are seeking a Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment at a field-based location in Fort Lupton.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical components
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, service vehicles, and maintain equipment reliability
  • Operate mobile equipment and assist in fabricating or welding parts as needed
  • Purchase parts, maintain a clean workspace, and support team training
  • Follow safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment
  • Provide on-site support at other locations as required

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of truck mechanic experience
  • Knowledge of truck mechanics, maintenance practices, and safety protocols
  • Proficient with power tools, welding, and maintenance software; experience with specific transmissions/software preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • High school diploma is an asset; experience with concrete mixers and haul trucks is preferred
  • Must supply personal tools and demonstrate teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a safety-sensitive environment
  • Exposure to outdoor conditions, heavy machinery, and safety equipment requirements
  • Requires pre-employment screening, background checks, and travel as needed
