About the role
We are seeking a Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment at a field-based location in Fort Lupton.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical components
- Conduct preventative maintenance, service vehicles, and maintain equipment reliability
- Operate mobile equipment and assist in fabricating or welding parts as needed
- Purchase parts, maintain a clean workspace, and support team training
- Follow safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment
- Provide on-site support at other locations as required
Requirements
- Minimum one year of truck mechanic experience
- Knowledge of truck mechanics, maintenance practices, and safety protocols
- Proficient with power tools, welding, and maintenance software; experience with specific transmissions/software preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- High school diploma is an asset; experience with concrete mixers and haul trucks is preferred
- Must supply personal tools and demonstrate teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a safety-sensitive environment
- Exposure to outdoor conditions, heavy machinery, and safety equipment requirements
- Requires pre-employment screening, background checks, and travel as needed
