About the Role

A hands-on Mechanic position focused on maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including ready-mix trucks, to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems according to specifications.
  • Operate mobile equipment, service trucks, and perform daily maintenance tasks.
  • Weld, fabricate, and purchase parts as needed for repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide on-site support and collaborate with team members and leadership.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including PPE use.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of truck mechanic experience.
  • Strong knowledge of truck mechanics and maintenance practices.
  • Proficient with power tools, welders, and safety equipment.
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in maintenance software; experience with specific systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Personal tools up to ¾-inch drive required.

Work Environment

  • Field-based role at a Fort Lupton Plant.
  • Outdoor work with exposure to various weather conditions and loud machinery.
  • Physical activities including lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and standing.
  • Use of PPE and compliance with safety standards.
  • Travel to different job sites as needed.
