Responsibilities
- Performing general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques desirable
- Demonstrate basic mechanical skills by effectively replacing similar parts
- Diagnose and repair 12 volt electrical, air and hydraulic systems
- PRACTICE SAFE WORK HABITS when handling gas, diesel, LP, and lube oils
Requirements
- Skilled technician with expertise in repairing and maintaining truck tanks
- Proven proficiency in mechanical repairs and electrical systems
- Basic mechanical skills including the ability to replace similar parts
- Experience diagnosing and repairing 12 volt electrical, air and hydraulic systems
- Ability to practice safe work habits when handling various fluids
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of experience in truck tank maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to truck tank operations
Skills
- TIG welding techniques (desirable)
- Basic mechanical skills
- Electrical system troubleshooting
- Air and hydraulic system repair
- Safety protocols
