Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on cranes by reading diagrams, schematics, manuals, and blueprints
• Identify, diagnose, and replace crane components, including electrical, drivetrain, engine, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems
• Examine parts for damage and wear, request replacement parts, and ensure safety and environmental compliance
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Travel periodically for field service, collect parts, and operate a company service truck

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical diagnostics experience
• Training or experience in electrical and mechanical systems
• Mechanic background with ability to identify crane components
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a service truck
