Healthcare Provider - Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

About the role

Join a patient-focused urgent care team dedicated to providing innovative and compassionate healthcare. As a Provider, you will collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care, diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications for all age groups.

You will perform urgent care procedures such as wound repair, abscess drainage, splinting, EKG, and X-Ray interpretation, assessing and planning individualized care based on patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
• Order diagnostic tests and prescribe medications for all age groups
• Perform urgent care procedures (wound repair, abscess drainage, splinting, EKG, X-Ray interpretation)
• Assess and plan individualized care based on patient needs

Requirements

• Master’s degree and certification
• Current State license
• Active DEA license
• Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care
• Eligibility to see patients of all ages
• DOT certification or ability to obtain it
