Description

Perkins&Will San Francisco Studio seeks an entrepreneurial Practice Leader and Managing Principal to lead strategic growth for their Healthcare design practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience, be an effective leader and strategic thinker, capable of shaping and executing a vision for the practice aligned with studio and firmwide goals.

The successful candidate will also be a collaborative team builder, actively engaged in talent development, marketing strategy, and regional and firmwide practice initiatives.

Common And Baseline Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver project strategy, integrating research, living design, and JEDI principles into projects.
  • Integrate services of other disciplines into projects, build client and partner relationships, and craft pursuit and relationship management strategies.
  • Direct project work plan, select, bid, negotiate, and contract sub-consultants, monitor financial performance, manage scope and fee, and resolve disputes.
  • Ensure project quality, meet schedules, and communicate effectively with all parties.
  • Represent the firm externally and support marketing and sales efforts.
  • Manage and mentor team members to achieve project success.

High-Level Summary Of Critical, Baseline Technical Skills And Certifications

  • Significant experience leading and managing successful projects, client relationships, and teams at various scales.
  • Strong commitment to design excellence, innovation, high-quality design, and personalized client services, including relationship management, problem-solving, decision making, and collaboration.
  • Excellent communicator with intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in software such as Vantagepoint PMTK and relevant internal platforms, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of relevant certifications and licenses, such as LEED AP, WELL AP, or architectural license.

Pay Range Information

The annual pay salary range for this position in San Francisco is between $185,300 and $272,300. The firm fosters a diverse and inclusive culture and strives for fair, competitive, and equitable pay practices.
