About the role

This position plans, organizes, and implements the non-nursing functions of assigned unit(s) to facilitate workflow, enhance unit productivity, and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff. The role promotes efficient unit function and indirect resident care. This HUC role supports Diagnostic Imaging Staff including Rad Techs, MRI Techs, and others.

We typically look for people who have healthcare experience, whether in Registration, scheduling, or patient care. If you are a student attending a Radiologic Technologist, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine program, this would be a great position for you!

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical and reception duties
  • Requisitions supplies, equipment, and services as directed
  • Assists with scheduling
  • May be assigned to observe telemetry monitor when indicated, notifying patient’s caregiver of any changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

No certification or licensure required.

Pay

$20.20 - $30.09 per hour

Schedule

  • Shift Rotation: Day/Evening/Night rotation
  • Shift Start Times: 06:30, 09:30, 14:30
  • Shift End Times: 14:30, 17:30, 22:30
  • Weekends: Yes, every 4th weekend
  • Holidays: Yes
  • Call Obligation: No
  • Union: SMMC USWA (SMUMS)
