Health Solutions Assistant Vice President
Aon is looking for a Health Solutions Assistant Vice President in Philadelphia, PA, New York, NY, New Jersey, New England, or Connecticut. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work both virtually and from a local office.
About the role
As an Assistant Vice President, you are the Lead Consultant on the Health Solutions client team, supporting the Account Executive and ensuring timely, accurate, and quality service of all client deliverables. You will act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, oversee the client team, and manage projects. This role involves delegating assignments, peer-reviewing work, performing analysis, drafting client presentations, participating in client meetings, and identifying client needs for additional services.
You will also:
- Lead integrated efforts of internal Aon teams such as actuarial, audit, legal, and specialized broking teams
- Foster relationships with the client’s vendor partners
- Maintain an understanding of healthcare market trends and innovation
- Leverage the right resources to resolve client issues
- Mentor, coach, and guide junior staff
Requirements
- Ten plus years of experience in the group health and benefits industry with a strong working knowledge of benefits, particularly within the healthcare industry
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
- Must have appropriate insurance license/life and health (can be fulfilled post-hire)
- Project management certification is a plus
Pay
The salary range for this position is $113,000 to $151,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This range is based on a primary work location of Philadelphia, PA and may vary for other geographic locations.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
