OTHR$39.21–$51.63/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections only if real content. Use for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We need to parse the job posting.
Key info:
- Title: Building Inspector (not to be repeated as heading)
- Job Category: Environmental Services/Zoning
- Requisition Number: BUILD001357 (metadata, can be in short p)
- Posted: August 31, 2026
- Location: CC Government Center 313 N Main St Center City, MN 55012, USA (maybe duplicate)
- Open until filled.
- Pay: $39.21 to $51.63 DOQ (DOQ = depending on qualifications). So we have Pay info.
- Description: "Performs difficult work conducting building inspections to ensure compliance with codes and regulations, reviewing plans for construction standards, issuing and filing notices and citations, completing required reports, and related work. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Official."
- Then "Position Objective" repeats same description.
- Essential Functions list many bullet-like sentences (each ends with period). We can treat as list items under Responsibilities.
- Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities list many items.
- Desired Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED and extensive experience, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Special Qualifications: Valid driver’s license in Minnesota; Must be able to assess job and construction site safety and walk and traverse across varied terrain and unfinished job site and building conditions; Must hold current Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry certification as Building Official Limited; Inspector’s Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems Individual Certification from the State of Minnesota or ability to obtain future certification preferred but not required.
- Tools and Equipment Used list.
- Working Conditions description.
- Physical Exertion details.
- Application process etc (to be removed).
- Qualifications, Skills, Behaviors, Motivations, Education, Experience, Licenses & Certifications sections appear empty (just placeholders). We should not create sections for those if no content.
We need to decide sections:
- About the role: could include brief overview (description). Could combine description and position objective.
- Responsibilities: essential functions list.
- Requirements: maybe include Desired Minimum Qualifications, Special Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Tools, Working Conditions? But we have separate sections for Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We need to follow instruction: Use headings only for those specific section names if we have content. We can combine multiple types into sections.
We have Pay info: $39.21 to $51.63 DOQ. So we can create a Pay section.
Schedule: Not explicitly stated besides Full-Time. Could infer schedule but not given explicit. Should not create Schedule unless posting actually states them. It says Full-Time but not schedule details. Probably we should not create Schedule section because no explicit schedule like "Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm". So omit.
Benefits: Not mentioned. No benefits info. So omit Benefits.
Skills: We have Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities list. That could go under Skills section. Also we have Tools and Equipment Used maybe under Skills? But better to put Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities under Skills.
Qualifications: We have Desired Minimum Qualifications and Special Qualifications. Could go under Qualifications.
About the role: Could include brief summary: description and maybe location, posted date, etc.
Responsibilities: Essential Functions list.
We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all the essential functions items as list items. Also include knowledge, skills, abilities items as list items under Skills. Include qualifications items as list items under Qualifications. Include pay info as p under Pay section.
Also include location and posted date maybe in About the role as a short p.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, application instructions, etc.
We must not repeat job title as heading.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; fold minor metadata into a short p or drop it. We can include requisition number in About the role p.
We must output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.

We should not include Schedule or Benefits. Check for any other substantive info: Tools and Equipment Used, Working Conditions, Physical Exertion. Those are substantive but we haven't placed them anywhere. Should we include them? They could go under Skills or maybe a separate section like "Working Conditions" but not in allowed headings list. The allowed headings are only those eight. We could incorporate Tools and Equipment Used, Working Conditions, Physical Exertion into Skills or Qualifications? But they are not skills exactly. However we can include them under Skills as additional bullet points, as they are still abilities/requirements. The instruction: Use headings only for those section names if we have real content. It didn't forbid adding other content under those headings. So we can add tools, working conditions, physical exertion under Skills (or Qualifications). Better to put them under Skills as they are related to ability to perform job. Let's add bullets for Tools and Equipment Used, Working Conditions, Physical Exertion. Tools and Equipment Used list: Car/truck, shovel, probe, level, transit, soil auger, respirator, lead and asbestos testing equipment, and general office equipment. Working Conditions description: combination of office and field; field uncomfortable hot/wet/humid summer, cold/wet other seasons; noise level range from moderately quiet office to loud noisy field. Physical Exertion: list of pounds occasional etc. We'll add as bullet points under Skills. We must preserve all substantive information; we should not lose any. Let's add:
