About the role

Adagio Health is looking to hire a full-time Health Educator for its Langley office in Pittsburgh, PA to serve Allegheny County partners. The pay for this position is $19.40/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates and delivers education in a variety of settings.
  • Ensures curricula is delivered as intended following program guidance and guidelines.
  • Delivers engaging, interactive, and concise lessons.
  • Builds relationships with program partners to enhance program delivery and effectiveness.
  • Maintains regular communication with program partners.
  • Initiates, leads, and provides technical assistance on supporting projects based on partner needs.
  • Delivers indirect channels.
  • Completes all required documentation, data tracking, and data entry by determined deadlines.
  • Provides high-quality customer service and participant recruitment in coordination with other Adagio Health initiatives as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with other educators to share ideas.
  • Works/travels in any offices as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS degree in public health, education, nutrition, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to develop, provide, and evaluate education programming.
  • Experience in youth education in a school setting and in public health is desirable.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable car.
  • Travel is required on a regular basis.

  • Ability to work afterschool/weekend programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Series.
