Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist classroom staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff
• Support classroom activities and lesson implementation
• Promote positive child interactions and development
• Assist with daily routines and caregiving tasks

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: High school diploma working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire.

Preferred Education Level: Child Development Associate (CDA) – Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.

Experience: Experience working with young children.

Preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk population, Head Start experience.
