About the role
Provide educational support in Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Assist children in developing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Assist children in learning basic academic skills
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support child development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field
- Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months
- Experience working with young children preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass a background check
Skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Basic computer literacy
