Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff.
• Support classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Promote positive child interactions and development.
• Assist with daily routines and caregiving tasks.

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum: High school diploma, working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire.
• Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.

Experience:

• Experience working with young children.
• Preferred: 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk population, Head Start experience.

Personal characteristics:

• Compassionate, organized, flexible, communicator, team-player.

Physical abilities:

• Ability to lift 30 pounds.

$17.28–$19.59 per hour.
