About The Role
We are seeking a Head of Workplace Operations to oversee the physical infrastructure at Nudge. This role involves ensuring that all office, laboratory, and prototyping spaces operate efficiently and scale with the company. The Head of Workplace Operations will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing operational systems to maintain a reliable, safe, and efficient physical environment.
- Managing access control, badging, shipping and receiving, inventory, supplies, maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborating with hardware, research, and engineering teams to align physical needs with operational support.
- Building and maintaining relationships with building management, contractors, service providers, and key vendors.
- Planning, executing, and managing space planning, moves, build-outs, expansions, and reconfigurations as the company grows.
- Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks proactively to prevent delays for technical teams.
- Overseeing facilities-related budgeting, purchasing, and expense management, and supporting leadership in decision-making.
- Assuming responsibility for high-priority operational issues, especially those requiring quick action and reliable execution.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience managing facilities, workplace, lab, or physical operations in a fast-paced environment, particularly in hardware, R&D, manufacturing, or robotics.
- Adept judgment and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a rapidly changing environment.

- The capability to identify and address operational issues promptly.
- A hands-on approach to problem-solving and a commitment to high-quality environments.
