About the role
The next Head of School will inherit a mission-driven community, a capable leadership team, a supportive board, and a school ready for renewed momentum. The opportunity is to help Eastbrook move from stabilization to flourishing while remaining faithful to the Christian, diverse, rigorous, and classically-inspired vision that has shaped the Academy from the beginning.
Responsibilities
- Lead Eastbrook Academy in maintaining and advancing its mission, vision, and values.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the school's growth and sustainability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, faculty, staff, parents, and students.
- Ensure high academic standards and a rigorous curriculum aligned with the classical model.
- Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive student support system.
- Manage the budget and financial operations of the school.
- Engage in fundraising efforts to support the school's programs and initiatives.
- Represent the school at various community events and conferences.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education, administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in educational leadership, preferably in a similar setting.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student body and community.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and resource management.
- Experience in building and leading a school community.
