About the role
The Head of School will lead a dynamic and diverse community, fostering an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and personally. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, this role requires a strategic thinker, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to educational excellence.Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the school’s academic program, ensuring alignment with FVS’s mission and vision.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and support.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with faculty, staff, parents, and students.
- Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to ensure the school’s long-term goals are met.
- Ensure the school’s financial health and manage its resources effectively.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a leadership position within an educational institution.
- Experience working internationally and with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
