About the role
The Leffell School is seeking a visionary and relationship-driven leader to build upon an extraordinary foundation and help shape the next chapter of its growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the academic program, ensuring it remains intellectually rigorous and aligned with the school's mission.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the school's cultural and social climate, fostering a sense of community and belonging among all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, alumni, and the broader Jewish community to support the school's mission and vision.
- Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the school, working closely with the Board of Trustees and administration.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in education, preferably in a leadership role.
- A proven track record of success in building and maintaining a positive school culture.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- A deep understanding of Jewish values and their integration into educational practice.
- Experience in fundraising and grant writing.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of best practices in Jewish education and pedagogy.
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
