About the role

The Leffell School is seeking a visionary and relationship-driven leader to build upon an extraordinary foundation and help shape the next chapter of its growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the academic program, ensuring it remains intellectually rigorous and aligned with the school's mission.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the school's cultural and social climate, fostering a sense of community and belonging among all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, alumni, and the broader Jewish community to support the school's mission and vision.
  • Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the school, working closely with the Board of Trustees and administration.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in education, preferably in a leadership role.
  • A proven track record of success in building and maintaining a positive school culture.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • A deep understanding of Jewish values and their integration into educational practice.
  • Experience in fundraising and grant writing.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of best practices in Jewish education and pedagogy.
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong financial management skills.
