About the role

We are looking for a visionary Head of PR who lives and breathes storytelling. Someone who can blend creativity with data and lead a talented PR team to shape how the world sees MacPaw and our products. We are building an ambitious, AI-first ecosystem that will expand what people can do and help them achieve more. You will be in charge of establishing and executing our communications strategy.

Location: Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the narrative - develop and execute a comprehensive global PR strategy for MacPaw and our products, aligning it with the company’s long-term vision and business goals.
  • Build meaningful connections - cultivate strategic relationships with TIER-1 tech media, global journalists, and industry partners to expand MacPaw’s footprint.
  • Lead with data - define a unified reporting architecture and KPIs for PR. Use data-driven insights to measure success, optimize campaigns, and prove impact.
  • Own the stage - identify, organize, and leverage key industry events globally to boost MacPaw’s recognition and build strong industry ties.
  • Be the guardian of our reputation - oversee our public image across key global markets, crafting clear messaging and proactively managing reputational risks.
  • Innovate with AI - drive the integration of AI tools within our PR workflows, establishing high-level frameworks to make our communications faster, smarter, and more efficient.
  • Manage resources - oversee PR budget planning and allocation to ensure maximum impact and operational excellence.
  • Empower the team - mentor, coach, and grow a team of talented PR professionals. Set clear goals, foster accountability, and support their career journeys.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate brand marketing or PR, with a strong background in the global tech industry.
  • Proven experience in building successful global PR campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of media relations.
  • Solid understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a natural ability to work cross-functionally and inspire people.
  • Proven experience managing a high-performing PR team.

Nice-to-have

  • Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI agents to supercharge your daily workflows.
  • Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how AI search is changing the future of PR.
