What You'll Do

  • Budget & Financial Operations
    • Own and manage the marketing department's budget end to end, tracking spend against plan, flagging variances, and partnering with Finance on forecasting and reporting
    • Build visibility into spend by team/channel/program so leadership can make informed tradeoffs
    • Support quarterly and annual budget planning cycles
  • Hiring Operations
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and marketing leads to manage headcount planning, requisition tracking, and interview logistics
    • Help standardize hiring processes across marketing sub-teams (job descriptions, interview loops, scorecards)
    • Keep hiring plans aligned with budget and org design
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Executive Partnership
    • Bring together the different functions within marketing (brand, demand gen, product marketing, comms, etc.) for regular tactical updates and team-wide readouts
    • Own the cadence, agenda, and follow-through for marketing leadership meetings and all-hands
    • Partner directly with the CMO on presentation development, including board decks, executive readouts, and strategy docs, ensuring materials are polished, data-backed, and on-message
  • Marketing Technology & Tools Oversight
    • Own visibility and oversight into all tools and platforms marketing is evaluating or onboarding over the next 12 months
    • Manage vendor evaluations, procurement conversations, and onboarding/rollout plans for new tools
    • Maintain a master view of the marketing tech stack, including licensing, usage, and renewal timelines

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, business operations, or a similar role supporting senior marketing leaders
  • Strong financial acumen, comfortable owning a budget and communicating spend clearly to executives
  • Experience with hiring/recruiting operations, ideally partnering closely with TA teams
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; experience building exec-level decks
  • Familiarity with common marketing tech stack tools (e.g., marketing automation, analytics, project management platforms)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating across ambiguity
  • A collaborative operator who can build trust across a wide range of stakeholders, from individual contributors to the C-suite

Pay

$160,000 - $200,000
