The Role

Lord Abbett is seeking a Head of Integrated Marketing to lead the planning and execution of coordinated marketing programs across client segments, channels, and strategic growth priorities. Reporting to the Head of Brand, this leader will oversee client and channel marketing and integrated campaigns that support the firm’s commercial objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role for a marketer who can build structure, guide execution, and elevate the firm’s integrated marketing capability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated marketing planning across client segments, channels, products, and strategic campaigns.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns that support Lord Abbett’s growth priorities.
  • Oversee client and channel marketing across email, web, social, events, content distribution, sales enablement, and relationship marketing.
  • Translate business, brand, product, investment, and distribution priorities into audience-led marketing plans.
  • Build campaign briefs, content architectures, channel plans, activation calendars, sales enablement plans, and measurement frameworks.
  • Define the role of each channel and ensure content is adapted appropriately by audience, channel, and stage of engagement.
  • Optimize workflows and processes to ensure efficient and effective campaign management and measurement.
  • Partner with Sales and Strategic Relationships to ensure campaigns are actionable in the field and aligned with advisor, client, platform, and intermediary opportunities.
  • Partner with Digital Experience and Data and Analytics to improve segmentation, journey design, campaign deployment, tracking, reporting, and optimization.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and post-campaign readouts to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately five marketing professionals.
  • Improve planning processes, workflows, prioritization, governance, and execution discipline.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors as needed.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure materials are reviewed efficiently and meet applicable regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in asset management, wealth management, financial services, or another regulated environment.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated campaigns across content, digital, email, social, paid media, events, and sales enablement.
  • Strong understanding of asset management audiences, including financial advisors, RIAs, intermediary platforms, institutional investors, consultants, and strategic partners.
  • Proven ability to translate business priorities into actionable marketing strategies and execution plans.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong project management, communication, writing, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, audience segmentation, nurture journeys, campaign measurement, and dashboarding.
  • Ability to operate as a hands-on player-coach in an evolving marketing environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, particularly in asset management, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay

Annual base salary for this role is $260,000 - $285,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
