Head of Enterprise / GM

Kikoff · San Francisco, CA · 1 mo ago
Management$230k–$350k/yrFull-time

About the role

Kikoff is a profitable, pre-IPO fintech company on a mission to empower everyone to achieve financial security. With record revenue growth in 2025 and a unicorn valuation, we've built a suite of products that help millions of people build credit, access liquidity, and save money. This role is leading one of our newest and most exciting business areas: Kikoff Enterprise, which turns our credit-building engine into credit infrastructure other companies build on—white-label embedded credit-building, financial-wellness products, and productized bureau operations (furnishing-as-a-service, AI-automated FCRA dispute management, decline recovery, decisioning, IDV/KYC). Our customers include gig-economy employers, embedded-finance providers, credit unions, CDFIs, neobanks, and lenders serving the underserved economy.

This is a business-builder role for someone with deep product instincts and commercial range. You will define what Kikoff Enterprise becomes and be accountable for getting it there.

Responsibilities

  • Find or strengthen product-market fit (PMF) and know it when you see it. Form a clear, evidence-based point of view on what PMF looks like for which Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for embedded credit infrastructure, define the leading indicators that tell us we're approaching it, and relentlessly close the gap between where we are and where fit lives.
  • Define the ICP and how to find it. Cut through the buyer types we could serve to the one or two we should win first, build the thesis for why, and design the fastest path to reach and convert them.
  • Decide what we build and why. Own the product strategy and roadmap across both surfaces—the Credit Progression Suite and the Credit Infrastructure stack—grounded in customer evidence, sequencing bets so each release compounds into a defensible platform rather than a pile of features.
  • Set pricing and distribution. Design packaging and pricing that map to the value partners actually get, and figure out the distribution motion (direct, partner-led, channel, or self-serve API) that lets this scale beyond founder-led sales.
  • Understand what customers care about and drive high Net Revenue Retention (NRR). Get deep on why partners buy, stay, and expand; build the product and program that makes them successful; and own retention and expansion as first-class outcomes, not afterthoughts.
  • Grow the opportunity and measure progress early and often. Define the metrics that show real progress at this stage (not vanity) and instrument the business so we can tell signal from noise even when numbers are still small.

Requirements

  • You have taken a B2B product or business from 0-1 and into scale and can speak concretely to what PMF felt like before and after you found it.
  • You think in bets and evidence. You reach past instinct to the data and customer truth that build conviction, and you're comfortable pulling and interrogating data yourself.
  • You have commercial range: you can sit in a sales call, shape a pricing model, and read a cohort retention curve in the same day, and you're energized by owning outcomes rather than just shipping.
  • You've worked in or sold to financial services, embedded finance, fintech infrastructure, or a regulated API business—and you're fluent (or fast to become fluent) in the realities of bureaus, furnishing, and compliance (FCRA/ECOA).
  • You're an excellent communicator and writer who can build alignment across engineering, GTM, and the C-suite, and earn the trust of sophisticated enterprise buyers.
  • You operate with extreme ownership in ambiguity. When something is undefined, you define it; when something is broken, you fix it; when it's time to hand off the wheel, you do.
