Head of Enterprise Application Services
About the Role

The Head of Enterprise Application Services is a newly created role, established to provide focused leadership over A&M's enterprise application portfolio, which includes SAP S/4 HANA, Workday, Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud), Sales Engagement Tools, Expense, Timekeeping, and a growing portfolio of legal, compliance, and risk-tech platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, build, run, and continuous evolution of A&M's enterprise application portfolio, ensuring platform reliability, integration coherence, and strategic alignment with firm growth.
- Hold third-party vendors and System Integration (SI) partners accountable through defined performance metrics, governance, and escalation protocols.
- Lead the architecture and standards for the application portfolio, adhering to a "configure-not-customize" mindset.
- Manage the total cost of ownership for the application portfolio, including license optimization and contract lifecycle for SaaS and SI partners.
- Build and develop a leadership team of direct reports across vertical domain leads (Finance Tech, People Tech, Legal Tech, Compliance & Risk Tech, CRM Tech, Business Unit Tech) and horizontal capabilities (Integration & APIs, Custom Development & Low-Code, Engagement & Workflow).
- Federate business unit-dedicated technology to platform standards while respecting BU autonomy.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including the CFO, Chief People Officer, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and BU leaders, to translate requirements into platform direction.
- Ensure modern and secure DevSecOps practices across the application estate, including build, test, and deployment processes.
- Serve as the single accountable executive for the application platform to the C-suite, leading enterprise-level conversations on strategy, investment, and trade-offs.
Requirements
- Multi-platform ownership at scale: Experience running a multi-domain enterprise application portfolio (ERP, HRIS, CRM, plus legal/risk and engagement platforms) as a single accountable leader.
- SI partnership discipline: Experience working with world-class Managed Service and System Integrators, including setting scope, governing delivery, and escalating issues.
- Architecture instincts: A "configure-not-customize" mindset with a track record of resisting SI customization pressure.
- Domain leadership: Experience building and developing a leadership team of seven or more direct reports across vertical and horizontal domains.
- DevSecOps maturity: Experience with modern and secure delivery practices across an application estate, including build, test, and deployment-to-staging.
- Executive presence: Comfortable representing the application platform to the C-suite and leading enterprise-level strategy discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional services firm (PSF) experience, with an understanding of engagement-driven systems (e.g., time tracking, billing).
- SAP modernization experience, including SAP S/4 HANA programs at scale with a global managed-service partner.
- Salesforce maturity: Experience operating Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud in production at scale.
- Workday operational depth: Experience running Workday HCM and Talent in production.
- DevOps & Governance: Experience standing up development shops using SDLC frameworks and security best practices.
- Global Capability Center experience: Experience building application services delivery capability in India or an equivalent location.

Pay
The salary range is $230,000–$270,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is also offered based on individual and firm performance.
Schedule
Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for full benefits and participation in the firm’s programs.
