Head of Emerging Sales, SAAS Digital Ad Tech
About the role
Skai (formerly Kenshoo) is seeking a dynamic leader to join its expanding team. Known for its industry-leading digital marketing software, Skai is now looking to expand its reach through strategic partnerships and sales efforts. This role involves managing a team of experienced sales professionals who will focus on developing and closing deals with key enterprise brands and agencies in the Financial Services, Education, Media and Entertainment, Technology, and Travel sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive your sales team to peak performance
- Collaborate with your Regional Vice President and the Management team to develop a business plan designed to meet and exceed your revenue goals
- Manage your revenue pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
- Recruit, hire and train members of the Sales Team to drive sales excellence
- Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Development team on events and targeted campaigns
- Develop, coach and mentor your direct reports. Support employees through internal talent management programs and performance reviews
Requirements
- 5-10 years of digital experience in a Sales and/or Sales Manager role
- Working knowledge of one or more of these key verticals: Financial Services, Education, Media and Entertainment, Technology and Travel
- Willingness to learn, creativity, passion, positivity, and drive
- People management experience (desirable)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but equivalent years of work experience will be considered
- Comfort with selling software and services
- SaaS and Sales experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of the overall Sales team
- Knowledge of prospecting and CRM software (ideally Salesforce & LinkedIn Navigator)
- Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of our solutions

The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000 plus commissions, with the actual salary varying based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
