The Role

As Head of Computer Science, you will lead the department and drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the Computer Science department
• Developing and implementing an engaging and ambitious curriculum
• Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
• Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
• Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
• Promoting digital literacy and computing across the wider school

What We're Looking For

A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
Proven experience teaching at secondary level
Experience in a leadership role or readiness to step into a Head of Computer Science position
A track record of strong student outcomes
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
A passion for inspiring the next generation in computing and technology
