Head of Admissions, Alpha - $250,000/year USD

Responsibilities

• Leading the complete admissions experience for prospective families, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding.
• Facilitating exploratory discussions to evaluate alignment before proposing pathways or advising on next actions.
• Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, maintaining transparent tracking and timely outreach.
• Delivering campus visits, observation days, and enrollment dialogues that articulate results, requirements, and the intended student profile.
• Ensuring precise CRM and student information system records (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and service excellence.

Requirements

• 3+ years providing premium, tailored service in settings where quality of experience directly shapes brand perception (education, high-end hospitality, executive services, selective membership, or independently managed client operations).
• Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment cycle from initial engagement through final onboarding.
• Experience concurrently stewarding 20+ client, guest, or family accounts across varied stages, supported by structured tracking and priority management.
• Able to present specific instances of advisory judgment, including occasions when you recommended against engagement due to misalignment.
• Professional correspondence experience with C-suite executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning stakeholders.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to Marin County, CA, or Palo Alto, CA.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship.

• Background in selective independent school admissions or competitive enrollment programs.
• Professional experience in luxury hospitality, high-touch guest relations, or executive support capacities.
• History of designing or enhancing admissions workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
• Proficiency leveraging CRM analytics to elevate enrollment fit and sustainability, beyond speed alone.
