About the role
This position provides direct supervision, training, and consultation to a team of 40 to 50 Home Care Aides. The Supervisor ensures efficient and compliant service delivery in accordance with best practices, IDOA, and CCU/ MCO policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Effectively uses program's time & labor software and other systems for operations.
- Maintains and utilizes an effective tracking system for staff assignments, service delivery, and participant information.
- Manages and monitors staff work hours, collects service calendars, and submits monthly program reports.
- Maintains and organizes HCA and participant files, conducts home visits, and prepares Plans of Care.
- Monitors and directs service provision, provides consultation on participant issues, and manages intake and service initiation.
- Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures, follows agency and funder guidelines, and participates in professional development.
- Provides supervision, training, and consultation to a team of Home Care Aides, conducts supervision sessions, and approves time sheets.
- Maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and engages in community outreach.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Associate of Arts degree preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Successfully completed supervisory training from IDOA or its designee.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High school level math skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Time & Labor Software.
- Valid Illinois Driver’s License and vehicle insurance.
- Personal cellphone required.
- Access to a car.
- Ability to travel throughout the Chicago land area for home visitation.
- Not eligible for remote work.
- Must comply with Casa Central's Personal Cellphone Usage Policy.
- Physical demands: sitting, talking, hearing, frequent hand use, lifting up to 25 lbs.
