About the role
The HVAC Field Supervisor oversees and manages the daily operations of HVAC service teams in the field. This role involves supervising and guiding HVAC technicians and installers to ensure the effective and efficient execution of HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs. The Field Supervisor coordinates schedules, manages job assignments, and ensures adherence to safety standards and company policies. The HVAC Field Supervisor plays a crucial role in optimizing team performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and achieving departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the installation, addition, or replacement of HVAC systems in residential properties, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Direct and streamline daily operations, including scheduling, job assignments, and workflow management to optimize team performance and service delivery.
- Oversee and approve the purchase of equipment and repair parts, ensuring that all materials meet company standards and project requirements.
- Supervise and guide a team of HVAC technicians, providing support, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional development and maintain high service standards.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC systems, demonstrating deep technical expertise.
- Required EPA Certification for compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Exhibits a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work with a strong dedication to delivering exceptional quality.
- Prioritizes outstanding customer service and consistently aims to exceed client expectations.
- Capable of interacting professionally with individuals at all organizational levels, managing diverse situations with skill.
- Demonstrates flexibility and creativity in problem-solving and adapting to changing environments.
- Possesses strong critical thinking and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues effectively.

- Service Titan experience
- NATE Certification
Physical Requirements
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
- Ability to drive.
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
- The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
