The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly capable HRIS | HCM Implementation | Data Analyst to support system implementation, optimization, and ongoing HR data management in an interim, full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between clients and vendor teams, ensuring data integrity, configuring modules, analyzing system outputs, and driving actionable insights. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining strong communication, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolution capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Support the full lifecycle of HCM implementation and optimization projects, from system setup to module configuration and data validation
- Analyze HCM and payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and vendor teams, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving issues effectively
- Ensure data integrity across HRIS/HCM systems and related modules, validating imports, exports, and system updates
- Lead or assist with the configuration, testing, and implementation of additional HCM modules or enhancements
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of system configurations, data changes, and project progress
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on system functionality, timelines, and deliverables
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates and proactive communication
- Utilize verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution skills to navigate challenging client or team interactions
- Operate effectively in a remote work environment while coordinating with hybrid and on-site teams
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in HCM or payroll systems, HRIS, and data-focused roles
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity, reporting, and actionable insights
- Hands-on experience with HCM system configuration, module implementation, and process optimization
- Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system or data issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building trust and strong partnerships with clients and vendors
- Skilled in conflict resolution, verbal de-escalation, and managing high-pressure situations while maintaining stakeholder alignment
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and data workflows simultaneously
- Experience with private equity or M&A integration projects is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is a plus

Pay
For this position, the hourly range is $60 - $80 per hour (actual pay will be based on experience, skills, and specific state/local requirements).
