About the role

This role provides administrative support and coordination to track and maintain land opportunities, involving preparation of feasibility books and interfacing with escrow and title companies, brokers, attorneys, and various consultants.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to department managers.
- Maintain and organize land development files.
- Track and manage land projects as needed.
- Assist in coordinating and communicating with legal counsel, architects, and consultants during development efforts.
- Monitor and maintain payments; expedite coding and invoice payments.
- Organize and maintain project files and reports.
- Manage incoming and outgoing email and manager schedules.
- Make minor adjustments to agreements as needed.
- Distribute internal memos and agendas; schedule and monitor development meetings.
- Prepare collateral materials (aerial photos, maps, exhibits, etc.).
- Assemble, format, and distribute project folders.
- Order and track checks.
- Handle county recorded files.
- Process change orders, POs, and work agreements.
- Work with treasury to procure bonds.
- Prepare and execute close-out documents.
- File and maintain escrow and title documents.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with a home-builder, developer, or real estate-related company.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Professional work ethic with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent math, written, and oral communication skills.
- Unrestricted motor vehicle license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; JD Edwards systems experience preferred.
- Home building or title company experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage priorities under pressure.
- Regular attendance and punctuality required.
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
- Effective interaction with co-workers.
- Understanding and adherence to work rules and procedures.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone equipment.
