About the role
The Operations department is responsible for golf and tour reservations. This role coordinates and processes reservations, communicates with drivers, and ensures smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Correspond with customer and supplier inquiries, and finalize reservations and booking information.
- Communicate with the team, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Assign vehicles and ensure all movements run smoothly; update drivers as necessary.
- Assist drivers and farm-out companies with golf equipment rental.
- Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Time allocation: 70% reservations and booking, 20% communication with drivers, 10% golf equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- More than 1 year of experience in the travel industry or equivalent skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Knowledge of the tour industry, tour movements, and arrangements.
- Understanding of Japanese culture and etiquette.
- Working knowledge of basic computer systems, Microsoft Office, email, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to plan, organize, and assign the activities of drivers.
- Accurate math skills, including the use of a 10-key calculator to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Working Conditions
- Normal business hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday – Saturday, including holidays, as needed.
- Regular attendance is required; may be asked to work after normal business hours and/or on weekends.
- Work environment: Air-conditioned office and/or remote workplace. May be required to report to the Tachibana Enterprises office 4 times per week or as needed.
- Subject to varying weather conditions, including noise, pollution, dust, fumes, and vehicle exhaust.

- General office equipment: phones, fax, copier, personal computer, scanner, etc.
- Software: Windows operating system, MS Office.

Pay
$17.00 to $22.50 hourly.
