About the role
Purpose: Provide personalized academic, social, emotional, and developmental supports and services necessary to educate all students to high standards.
Ensure all students meet the Indiana College and Career Ready Standards as identified by federal, state, and district regulations; and in alignment with FWCS/FWEA Master Contract.
Responsibilities
- Support students academically, socially, and emotionally within the classroom setting.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective practices.
- Implement evidence-based interventions aligned with the science of reading standards.
- Work with retained grade 3 students as required by the Early Literacy Endorsement.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana teaching license for assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
- RepA/RepA 3 Licensure Options: Elementary Generalist K-6, Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement (for retained grade 3 students).
- At least 3-5 years of teaching experience with highly effective or effective evaluation ratings.
- Knowledge of and ability to implement effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
