Key Responsibilities

  • Public Area Cleanliness: Conduct regular walk-throughs and thorough cleaning of all public areas, including parking lots, pathways, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and exterior spaces. Ensure these areas are consistently free of debris, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
  • Inspections and Issue Resolution: Perform routine inspections of public spaces to identify any cleanliness or maintenance concerns. Address minor issues promptly and report major maintenance needs to the Facilities team or Chief Engineer.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide courteous and professional interaction with guests in public areas, offering assistance with directions, answering questions, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Deep Cleaning Tasks: Schedule and execute deeper cleaning tasks such as shampooing carpets, washing windows, and polishing furniture in public areas. Collaborate with the Cleanliness team to ensure these tasks are completed on schedule and to the highest standard.
  • Inventory and Equipment Management: Check and restock cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order and available for use. Coordinate with the Facilities and Cleanliness teams to ensure tools are maintained and ready for daily operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all cleaning activities comply with safety and health regulations. Stay updated on the latest protocols and adjust cleaning methods to meet evolving safety standards.
  • Guest Feedback & Service Improvement: Analyze guest feedback related to the cleanliness of public areas. Adjust cleaning routines and strategies as necessary to continuously improve guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for maintaining cleanliness and order in high-traffic public areas.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to identify potential issues and address them before they impact the guest experience.
  • Team Collaboration: The willingness and ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
