Guest Services I - Braemar Field

About the role

This position is responsible for providing a welcoming environment and excellent customer service to all patrons as the first point of contact at Braemar Field in Edina, MN.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide customer service over the phone.
• Accept payment for daily use passes, concessions, etc.
• Advise customers on procedures to reserve facility time and respond to questions regarding facility availability.
• Check people/teams in for reserved time and direct them to the appropriate facility.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning work as necessary.
• Ensure all rules are being followed by guests.
• Keep the lobby areas clean at all times.
• Perform semi-skilled custodial work including sweeping, mopping, maintaining supplies in restrooms, and general cleaning of restrooms and other related facilities and equipment.
• Remove snow from the front entry-way sidewalk.
• Adhere to and promote safety rules and regulations.
• Alert appropriate public safety personnel in the event of a medical emergency, unruly behavior, domestic disturbance, or fire, and document incidents.
• Provide basic first aid assistance.
• Monitor building equipment including lighting, heating, and air systems, and alert appropriate personnel in the event of a system failure.
• Work cooperatively with other divisions and departments.
• Perform related work as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or custodial experience preferred.

Schedule

This is a part-time, seasonal position working up to 25 hours per week.

Working Conditions

The position is performed primarily indoors within a temperature-controlled environment.
