Outside Guest Services

Position Summary

The Outside Guest Services Staff (OGS) consists of bag room (where applicable), range, bag drop, 1st tee player assistants, starters, and cart attendants. These individuals provide golf bag, golf cart, driving range, staging, and on-course assistance to guests of the property.

• Friendly personality and enjoyment of working with guests and fellow team members

• Able to use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Valid driver’s license (if driving golf carts or driving range equipment)

Responsibilities

• Provide a memorable guest experience
• Be team-oriented
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Bring golf carts from cart barn to cart staging area outside golf shop
• Load bags onto cart(s) and rental clubs onto cart(s) as needed
• Greet guests at designated bag drop area and load bags on to carts
• Give directions to guests for golf shop, first tee, driving range, etc.
• Transport range balls to driving range and fill appropriate containers
• Operate range picker on range to retrieve balls
• Clean all range balls daily
• Collect and return carts to cart barn and wash carts accordingly to standard operating procedures, park carts in designated spaces, and connect charger cables (where applicable) in a safe manner to avoid damage
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Working Conditions

• Regularly reaches with arms and hands
• Often walks, stands, talks or hears, handles, feels or operates objects
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 30lbs
• Sometimes sits, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls
• Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Moderate exposure to heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards
• Moderate exposure to noise level
• Extended hours during golf and holiday season
• Work weekends and holidays
