About the role
We are seeking friendly, welcoming attendants to join our legendary guest services team. This critical, first-impression position is ideal for well-spoken, polite problem solvers who demonstrate a passion for pleasing others and an interest in building a meaningful career with a hospitality leader.
Responsibilities
- Review daily traces to determine guest needs
- Maintain a calm and courteous attitude to ensure guest satisfaction
- Effectively communicate accurate information to guests and other team members
- Escort guests to their rooms with a proper and accurate tour
- Observe the property for cleanliness and ensure all is in order
- Assist with vehicles, parking, and pulling around
- Prepare all reports for the guest service team
- Ensure meeting rooms are set up for group use
- Assist with cooking school and special event setup
- Maintain bikes, bike racks, and golf cart inventories
- Complete daily rounds to ensure a 5-star appearance
- Meet and exceed all guest requests
- Handle check-ins and check-outs, including luggage delivery and removal
- Maintain fireplaces and the appearance of the pool
- Prepare meeting areas when groups are scheduled and for any other special activities
- Set up and takedown of outdoor functions
- Sweep and remove cobwebs from outdoor common areas of the property
- Assist guests with questions and provide safe transportation for on- or off-property activities
- Greet guests upon arrival
- Assist all other departments to meet guest needs
- Be familiar with all of the company’s past, present, and future offerings
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hospitality experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong self-motivator with the ability to motivate others
- Excellent knowledge of the property and all activities it offers
- Flexibility with scheduling for weekends and holidays
- Ability to work well with other team members, managers, and interact with guests
Skills
- Effective communication with guests, team members, and managers
- Basic knowledge and understanding of math
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
- Knowledge of MS Office
Physical Demands
- Excessive lifting of luggage and other guest requests, such as trays and packages
- On feet for most or all of the shift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work Environment
- General office/front desk guest reception area
- Occasional outdoor work in all weather conditions
Pay
$15.00–$16.00 an hour
