Responsibilities
- Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms.
- Escort guests to rooms and inform them of all hotel services and features.
- Attend to immediate guest needs upon arrival and follow up during their stay.
- Provide assistance and services for guests, as well as the hotel, ensuring a pleasant accommodation experience.
- Use friendly and appropriate expressions when engaging guests.
- Be fully acquainted with the different points of interest within the hotel.
- Aid in making reservations for restaurants and limousines for guests, and assist with airline ticket requests.
- Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, and special deliveries to guest rooms, executive offices, or meeting rooms.
- Maintain the public areas, bell closet, and ensure they are clean and tidy.
- Follow up with guest complaints to ensure issues are resolved.
- Arrange special requests for guests, such as flowers, rental cars, forwarding luggage, sightseeing tours, and advising of local shopping areas.
- Utilize bell carts effectively and with caution.
- Ensure the floor is covered 100% of the time, including the Front Desk.
- Direct guests to the Front Desk or meeting rooms.
- Call taxis and/or shuttles for guests as needed.
- Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible).
- Engage in conversation with as many guests as possible.
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, training, and organizational skills.
- A professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluent in English.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred.
