Guest Service Attendants (Bell Attendant)

About the role

Guest Services Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet Team to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage & personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. It is important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features. Additionally, the Guest Service Attendant role is to assist in ensuring efficient check-in and checkout experience. This role consists of a high volume of walking. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and Hotel or local recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Escort guests and transport luggage & personal items to and from guest rooms
• Ensure guests are comfortable with accommodations and familiar with room offerings and features
• Assist in ensuring efficient check-in and checkout experience
• Engage in casual conversation and provide Hotel or local recommendations
• Work in a high-volume environment requiring extensive walking and standing

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work a flexible schedule throughout the week to accommodate resort business levels
• Exceptional customer service
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
