About the Role

The Guest Room Attendant is one of the most important members of our hotel team. Our guests may interact with many people during their stay, but the condition of their room often creates one of their strongest impressions of the hotel. As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for creating a clean, comfortable, welcoming, and memorable environment for every guest who walks through the door. This is more than making beds and cleaning rooms—it is about noticing the details, taking pride in your work, and helping create each guest’s Graduate experience.

  • Own the Details: check rooms carefully for cleanliness and presentation, ensure amenities and supplies are properly positioned, identify damaged, missing, or malfunctioning items, report maintenance concerns promptly, report lost‑and‑found items according to procedures, and communicate unusual room conditions or guest concerns to leadership.
  • Protect Cleanliness & Safety: follow all sanitation, chemical‑handling, and safety procedures, use cleaning products and equipment properly, maintain an organized and safe housekeeping cart, handle guest linens, trash, and cleaning supplies correctly, follow hotel procedures for entering occupied rooms, and maintain awareness of guest privacy and security.
  • Work as One Team: communicate effectively with housekeeping leadership, partner with the Front Desk to support room readiness, communicate maintenance concerns to Engineering, assist teammates during busy periods, help create a positive and respectful work environment, participate in daily meetings, training, and hotel initiatives, and be willing to step in during high‑occupancy periods, special events, and busy weekends.
