Responsibilities
- Assist teachers and students in the classroom when Paraprofessionals are absent
- Ensure the classroom is a safe and productive learning environment
- Follow teacher instructions and guidance
- Assist students with schoolwork
- Support and enforce all school rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned by the building principal and administration
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Paraprofessional License (contact ISBE directly with questions: Illinois State Board of Education (217) 782-5256)
- Demonstrate consistent work attendance and punctuality
- Maintain student and staff confidentiality
- Work independently with small groups of students
Compensation
Daily Rate: $125.00, paid bi-monthly.
