Growth & Partnerships Manager
Role Summary
Templars is looking for a Growth & Partnerships Manager — a mission-driven, entrepreneurial self-starter who will lead outreach to chapter prospects, build strategic partnerships, activate our national chapter network for referrals, execute earned-media efforts, and personally run the Discovery Calls that convert interest into Launch Kit orders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage one-to-one outreach with chapter prospects — running coordinated, multi-touch cadences across email, phone, LinkedIn, and social media.
Initiate partnership opportunities with well-aligned strategic companies, organizations, apostolates, dioceses, and influencers — identifying targets, making the first ask, and carrying the relationship to a signed partnership.
Build a referral program within the existing national chapter network — turning happy chaplains and coordinators into a repeatable source of new-parish introductions.
Execute strategic marketing priorities, including earned-media work with Catholic media outlets (radio, blogs, newspapers, and similar) to build Templars' national profile.
Execute Discovery Calls — the key conversion activity that drives Launch Kit orders — owning the pipeline from first conversation to closed order.
Who You Are
A practicing Catholic who is genuinely mission-aligned with forming young men in the faith — this isn't a job you can do well without believing in it.
Entrepreneurial by nature: you influence, sell, activate, and manage projects, and you get more comfortable — not less — when the path isn't fully mapped out for you.
A self-starter who leads yourself: you bring ideas and take them into action rather than waiting for direction.
Comfortable on the phone and in front of people — you can build trust quickly with a priest, a donor, a parent, or a potential partner, and you're not afraid to make the ask.
A strong, efficient user of technology — comfortable using CRM/outreach tools, AI tools, and automation to get more done with less overhead, so a small team can act bigger than its size.
Organized enough to run multiple outreach cadences and partnership conversations at once without dropping the ball.
Likely 24–30 years old and early enough in your career to grow significantly in scope and responsibility as Templars grows — this role has real room to become a director-level seat.
Prior experience in sales, business development, campus ministry/FOCUS-style mission work, fundraising/development, or small-business/startup environments is a strong plus — a proven track record of causing growth matters more than a specific job title on a resume.
Compensation & Growth Path
Base salary: $50,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience and mission fit.
This is a lean base for the scope of the role by design — Templars is a young, growing organization, and this is a builder's seat with a real path to grow in title, scope, and compensation as the organization scales toward its 2026 goal of 200 new parishes and 1,500+ young men.
The upside is ownership and growth trajectory, not a large starting package.
Location & Logistics
Remote-friendly, with regular phone/video contact with the Templars team and travel as needed for key events, partner meetings, and Discovery Calls that are better run in person.
