PURPOSE OF POSITION
A Cook II is responsible for assisting the sous chef with the preparation and presentation of the daily menus (especially high-quality specials, soups, stew and chilies).
Responsibilities
- Produce flavorful dishes adhering to production standards and time constraints
- Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef
- Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished
- Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste
- Completed daily inventories
- Assist servers during busy times
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Pay
Pay: $22.50 per hour
