Grill Cook-- Corporate Dining

About the role

Brock & Company is seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our corporate dining team. This position offers a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, full-time benefits, complimentary meals and uniforms, and opportunities to grow with a stable, family-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh breakfast and lunch favorites in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.
• Execute menu items including daily specials for the breakfast and lunch meal periods.
• Operate the fryer, pizza oven, steamer, soup kettle and convection oven.
• Assemble, operate and disassemble meat and cheese slicers, blenders, mixers and processors.
• Comprehend and follow both verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding equipment use and personal hygiene.
• Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, friendly manner at all times.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate dining environment or similar venue.
• Proven experience using a grill/flat top to execute menu items including daily specials for the breakfast and lunch meal periods.
• Knowledge of how to operate the fryer, pizza oven, steamer, soup kettle and convection oven.
• Knowledge of assembly, operation and disassembly of meat and cheese slicers, blenders, mixers and processors.
• Comprehension of both verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques.

• Ability to receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries.
