Greeter Flagstaff Medical Center

Responsibilities

• Providing accurate instructions and directions and escorting as appropriate within our policies.
• Appropriately vetting visitor destination within the hospital and providing visitor badging.
• Referring visitor issues to security for de-escalation and resolving issues, working toward full resolution for all our customers.
• Greeting and assisting visitors in a professional helpful manner and arranging for volunteers to escort visitors when needed.
• Screning and greeting people arriving at our entry doors, and directing them as appropriate.
• Able to use and understand the computer and the various computer programs for patient tracking.
• Reporting and Documentation: Logging adult patient visitors, providing all visitors with a badge according to policy.
• Communicating with Security, Volunteers, and Spiritual Care teams in order to best serve our customers.
• Compliance/Safety: Reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attending all safety-related training programs; performing work in a safe manner; monitoring work environment for possible safety issues and ensuring others are also performing work in a safe manner.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all patient or employee records and following hospital and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
