Greenville Manufacturing - Shipper/Receiver II

Responsibilities

• Conducts cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials.
• Maintains accuracy and timely processing of customer orders in Epicor.
• Ensures proper weighing, labeling, storage, and shipment of finished goods to customer expectations and QMS standards.
• Handles receiving of incoming shipments, verifies documentation, and routes to appropriate personnel for inspection and approval.
• Maintains cleanliness of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
• Conducts cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials, as applicable, and maintains accurate inventory totals.
• Communicates inventory and shipment issues to Supervisor or designee.
• Trains and directs Shipper/Receiver I to be a competent backfill for the position.
• Maintains compliance with plant safety rules and assists in monitoring quality of work output.
• Supports the Quality Management System (QMS) by adhering to system requirements.
• Reports any problems or concerns to direct Supervisor.
• Maintains good working relations with all other employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or in a related field.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and familiarity with the QMS at Alltrista Plastics.

Pay

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
