Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials
• Monitor customer order subsystem in Epicor to initiate shipping related activities
• Ensure orders are scheduled and processed on time
• Responsible for the proper weighing, labelling, storage, and shipment of finished goods to the customer’s expectations and the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Handle receiving of incoming shipments, ensure documentation is accurate and route to proper personnel for inspection and/or approval prior to use, where applicable
• Movement of materials/finished goods within plant(s) and outside facilities, where applicable
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
• Conduct cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials, where applicable, and maintain accurate inventory totals
• Communicate inventory and customer shipment issues to Supervisor or designee
• Train and direct Shipper/Receiver I to be a competent backfill for the Shipper/Receiver II position
• Monitor customer order system to coordinate related shipment activity
• Backfill direct Supervisor in specified plant locations
• Support the QMS by adhering to the system requirements
• Understand and follow plant safety rules; help to identify and eliminate any safety hazard or concern
• Assist in monitoring quality of work output
• Maintain compliance with company policy and procedures
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area
• Report any problems or concerns to direct Supervisor
• Maintain good working relations with all other employees; strive to have no conflicts with other employees
• Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work
• Other duties as assigned
