Green Industry Sales Representative

About the role

Valley Tree Care is seeking a new member to join their Tree Care Team. This position offers an opportunity for paid training to learn the art of tree care in the Phoenix Valley, followed by the chance to operate one's own truck and earn base pay plus commission.

Responsibilities

• Learn to follow all policies and procedures for the position
• Show up consistently at 7 AM
• Drive safely to all residential and commercial stops scheduled for the day
• Evaluate trees for pest, disease, fungal, and cultural problems
• Sell products and treatments by informing and advising customers
• Keep work truck clean and organized
• Fill out paperwork and reports properly
• Effectively communicate with management to keep them informed of field activities
• Continue to learn to improve understanding of plant health and the products and services provided

Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior sales experience
• Desire to learn about the plant health care industry
• Familiarity with basic digital communication and online forms
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills to work with customers
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Strong work ethic
• Honesty and integrity
• A valid Arizona drivers license and clean driving record
• A high school diploma or equivalent
